09 Sep Would You Like To Hire An Apprentice?
As part of our ongoing support to the designers in the FC Designer Workspace (FCDW) we are currently working with Haringey Council and London Progression Collaboration to review funding to be available for apprenticeships.
At the FC Designer Workspace Jenny has been working with Francesca Castellano who currently works with interns. The Fashion-Enter Ltd education team has been supporting Francesca with how apprenticeships work, the different apprenticeships that are available and durations and support with JDs.
Fashion-Enter Ltd / FCDW CEO Jenny Holloway commented: “There are some amazing designer talents in the FCDW now and some of the brands are just excelling in sales even with such an adverse trading environment. As part of our commitment to the program we are looking at all ways to support the brands. This new initiative by Haringey Council allows funding to be available for the training of an apprentice. There are a wide cross section of apprenticeships available but probably the most pertinent for the designer brands would be the Fashion Studio Assistant.
