Hire Sewing Machines

Do you want to practise your sewing skills or make your own garments and accessories? We have the latest Juki industrial sewing machines on site available to rent by the hour, day, week or month. 
 
In addition you will also be able to use the cutting table and range of Alvaforms at the workspace. 
 
On your first visit you will receive a health and safety induction with our technician including a 10 minute training session for the machines. 
 
You are expected to use your own threads and fabric, however you can also purchase on site.

Hot desk

You can work at the FC Designer Workspace without commiting to a private studio by hiring a co working desk fully equipped with laptop and WiFi. 
 
You can hire alongside the industrial sewing machines at no extra cost.
 
 
 
 

Alvanon Fit Studio

We are delighted to offer an on-site Alvanon Fit Studio at the FC Designer Workspace, Alvanon, are global leaders in sizing and fit technology.

 

Inside the Fit Studio, designers and pattern makers for both emerging and established brands have the technology they need to test their garments on full form physical mannequins in a safe and private space, ensuring their collections achieve the best possible fit for their target demographic.

 

Featuring a full line-up of Alvanon’s European Standard fit forms* (available in men’s, women’s, and children’s), the studio can be rented by brands looking to test their fit standards, or used by designers seeking forms that represent realistic body shapes.

Do you need a professional setting for an important meeting? 
 
The 23 sqm meeting room can comfortably sit 8 people. We can also provide a rail, mannequins, projector and refreshments
