27 Nov Repair and Upcycle Drop-In Session – Tuesday 25 November

Our latest Repair and Upcycle Drop-In session, 25th November, welcomed eight enthusiastic participants, all keen to use the sewing machines and receive expert guidance on their home sewing projects. A wonderful variety of items were brought in, including a denim skirt, dresses, trousers, knitwear, a jacket, and bags.

Participants explored a wide range of techniques from re-hemming and simple alterations to creatively transforming old garments into new styles. Leyla was on hand throughout the session, offering her technical expertise and encouraging everyone to learn, experiment, and get hands-on with their repairs.

A big thank you to Islington Council for supporting this valuable initiative.
