09 Dec ReFAB Upcycled Products Now Available at FC Designer Collective Shop

The Fashion-Enter Ltd team have always said that the FC Designer Collective, located on Fonthill Road, is more than a shop, it’s a creative community space. From monthly, upcycling drop-in sessions to local designer products at affordable prices, it’s a place you can repair, alter and upcycle as well as shop.

New to the shop is a selection of bespoke lifestyle products from ReFAB Studio, a social enterprise that combines upcycling luxury textile waste with opportunities for disadvantaged communities.

Fashion-Enter Ltd Founder and CEO Jenny Holloway met with Rewati Prabhu, Founder of ReFAB (both pictured), and was impressed with ReFAB’s concept and proactive attitude to tackling textile waste.

ReFAB transforms luxury fabrics into bespoke products such as cushion covers, bags, drawstring bags, table runners and purses. Each item not only reduces fabric waste but also provides job opportunities to local female artisans who lovingly hand-craft all ReFAB products.

Since 2020, ReFAB have turned 500kgs of fabric into 700+ products! How impressive is that.
