On 31st January, Fashion-Enter Ltd hosted a free and informative Zoom masterclass on: ‘Navigating the First Steps of Finance for Fashion Brands & Designers.’

Led by FEL’s Deputy CEO, Jackie Bertram, the 1-hour session provided essential knowledge and tips to tackle the financial aspects of starting and running a micro business. 

FC Designer Workspace residents and learners were invited to the session as well as external fashion businesses and start-ups.

Jackie clearly explained basic financial terminology, how to set up financial systems and manage cash flow, along with practical tools and no-nonsense advice to establish a solid financial foundation.

The 18 attendees were invited to ask questions at the end of the session and these included: ‘Where to look for funding opportunities to grow a business’ and financial legalities specific to the fashion industry.
