24 Feb London Fashion Week: Dreaming Eli AW25
FC Designer Workspace resident ‘Dreaming Eli’ has presented on the London Fashion Week platform since 2021. Showcasing initially with the support of DiscoveryLAB and progressing to show / present on-schedule, bi-annually.
Dreaming Eli’s signature style plays on power, danger, and beauty of contradiction inherent in femininity. Sensual and full of corsetry, lingerie and delicate chiffons and lace, the AW25 collection “Between My Heart and Ribs” builds on the brands unique aesthetic.
Taking place on 21st February across two shows, Dreaming Eli showcased new Shibori techniques and the use of layering with distressed fabrics to mirror the complexities of womanhood, inspired by personal experiences of vulnerability and strength. The core colour palette combines intense blood reds alongside deep black with soft nudes and delicate pinks referencing skin, touch, and intimacy.
A first for the brand was the implementation of knitwear through distressed knitting to create new silhouettes. Torn, raw, red threads trace across the body like veins, symbolising blood, passion, and the undeniable pulse of life. Deconstructed lingerie returns with a renewed intensity, blending delicacy with defiance, plus the addition of outerwear to include corseted and puffer jackets.
It has been wonderful to see the Dreaming Eli brand flourish and grow each season and become globally recognised by the fashion press, influencers and buyers via the prestigious London Fashion Week platform.
