28 Nov Free Zoom Masterclass on Planning and Developing a Fashion Collection

On 27th November, Fashion-Enter Ltd’s Technical Development Director, Claire Solley, provided a free 1-hour masterclass on: 12 Step Plan to Develop and Create a Fashion Collection. 

This masterclass, held via Zoom, was open to FC Designer Workspace residents, Fashion Technology Academy students, along with external attendees. 15 individuals watched and listened to Claire’s PowerPoint presentation and had the opportunity to ask specific questions at the end of the session.

Deciding on which and how many pieces to sample

What to ask your manufacturer in your initial meeting

What documents you need before starting sampling

The fitting process

Sealing your sample

What is grading and how to decide what’s your for your brand

Plus a tour of the Fashion Studio

The session was well received with lots interaction and questions. The FEL team always say; there’s no such thing as a stupid question – and encourage participants to make the most of these monthly sessions.
