07 Mar FCDW Short Course Feedback – “The Instructors are Amazing”

As requested the Fashion-Enter Ltd team have scheduled a series of 1, 2 and 4-day courses aimed at beginners or intermediate sewers. The courses range from pattern cutting, stitching, to specific construction to make, for example, a darted bodice, a dress, or a pair of trousers. These courses run on a monthly basis and are adapted to the pace of each individual learner. 

Here, we feature some of the feedback from the courses that took place 3rd – 7th March…

2-Day Pattern Cutting:

“I learnt such a lot. Thanks to Manuela!”

4 Day Beginners Stitching:

“I really enjoyed the course, it taught me patience and how to be a beginner. Everyone is lovely and extremely helpful. I have no complaints at all. I look forward to practicing and learning more from everyone and returning for more classes.”

“I have learnt how to use multiple machines as well as pointers for my domestic machine. The instructors are amazing, we were surrounded by help and guidance. I will happily take more courses here.”

“It was fantastic to get the opportunity to use industrial sewing machines. You should do a 2-day course to let domestic sewers have a go and experience the magic and speed of industrial machines. Manuela is a great teacher and Louisa is good too!”

“I made a skirt, bag and a small jacket for a baby. Loved everything. Leaving wiser. Loved that that class is small which made learning easier.”

“Overall I had a really great time learning here. There was a bit of disorganisation with the teachers but they dealt well with last minute changes. I met lots of people whom I may collaborate with in the future. I would definitely come back.”
