FC Designer Workspace Staff and Residents Help Shape Finsbury Park Murals

Fashion-Enter Ltd and FC Designer Workspace are proud to have contributed to a community art project celebrating the people, cultures and everyday experiences that make Finsbury Park unique.

The Finsbury Park community came together, 21st October 2026, to celebrate the unveiling of two new murals at Finsbury Park Station, bringing local voices, creativity and shared experiences into the heart of the neighbourhood.

Staff and residents connected with Fashion-Enter Ltd and FC Designer Workspace played a part in the project, helping ensure the artwork reflects the people who live and work in the area.

Delivered by Allie’s Art Club and supported by Islington Council, the Mayor of London and the UK Government, the project invited local residents to take part in a collaborative design process, sharing their experiences of Finsbury Park and what makes the community special.

Six residents worked together through co-design workshops facilitated by local community artist Lydia Rose, who developed their ideas into the final mural designs. The resulting artwork celebrates everyday life in Finsbury Park and the connections that develop throughout the day, reflecting the area’s vibrant mix of people, cultures and activities.

Among those involved in the mural co-design process were Hawi Burka, representing FC Designer Workspace and Fashion-Enter Ltd, and Raquel de Carvalho, an FC Designer Workspace resident. Their involvement highlights the importance of giving local people a voice in their local community.

The project extends beyond the station murals. A series of colourful lamp post banners can be spotted across local streets, with Lydia Rose creating designs inspired by ideas and experiences shared during consultations with local businesses, including Fashion-Enter Ltd.

For Fashion-Enter Ltd and FC Designer Workspace, taking part in initiatives like this is an opportunity to strengthen community connections beyond the workplace, celebrate local identity and support projects that bring people together through creativity and collaboration.
