Congratulations to FC Designer Workspace resident, Raquel de Carvalho and her recent feature in British Vogue!

Compiled by Mahoro Seward and published on 23rd April, the article celebrates Raquel’s eponymous, directional knitwear label, spotlighted as part of London’s new guard design scene. The interview, part of an Earth Week series, discusses Raquel’s ethical, handmade approach and ethos, alongside her fashion journey from Sao Paulo to her studio in North London.

In the interview she discusses her designs: “Knitwear is a medium that comes with so many preconceptions – in Brazil, for example, people’s minds immediately go to crocheted beachwear, but I wanted to show how it could [feature] in different, more cosmopolitan contexts – like nightlife, for example.”
