17 Jul Excellent Feedback from Repair and Upcycle Drop-In July

On 16th July the FC Designer Collective shop hosted its monthly edition of the free Repair and Upcycle drop-in. 

Our senior technician Leyla was kept busy throughout the day with nine individuals working on a variety of projects including; upcycling dresses, shortening trousers, repairing zips and making cushion covers. Many of the attendees had brought in two or three items to work on and appreciated the use of the industrial equipment along with support and expertise.

Additionally, the team was able to advise on further courses, opportunities and careers opportunities relevant to each individual. This event is gratefully supported by Islington Council.

For those in need of beginners tuition and guidance please take a look at our 1-Day Beginners Upcycling Workshops at the FC Designer Workspace on the 9th and 16th August, these cost £30- and take place in a fully equipped training facility.

The next free drop-in session at FC Designer Collective, 113-115 Fonthill Road, N4 will take place Tuesday 13th August
