For further information please go to: Future Communities Fund   | Co-op Foundation (coopfoundation.org.uk)

Applications close at  12pm (midday) on 23rd December 2022.

There is a total of £1.5m to award from this round of funding. ‘Unrestricted funding’ means your organisation can decide how to spend the grant to further your mission or charity objectives.

Eligible organisations will:

  • Be able to provide at least one year of annual accounts
  • Have young people’s voices from all backgrounds and abilities at the core of their delivery
  • Advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in all areas of society
  • Actively engage with young people from diverse communities in a meaningful and inclusive way
  • Have experience of removing barriers and providing opportunities to young people
  • Have experience of delivering meaningful youth social action that supports young people into leadership roles, and
  • Be able to demonstrate you have experience of co-operation/collaboration.

Funding decisions will be supported by our Future Communities Collective – a group of ten young people who are sharing their expertise to design this Fund and make funding decisions.

If your first stage application is of interest, you will be invited for a short follow-up chat. These chats will be summarised and sent to our Future Communities Collective who will then decide which organisations are invited to submit a full application.

Good luck!
