1 Day Stitching and Upcycling Workspace Workshop

On Friday 9th August, Ana and Elisa led an all-day Stitching and Upcycling workshop at the FC Designer Workspace. These are popular sessions open to beginners wanting to learn basic sewing skills and upcycling techniques to make the most of their existing wardrobe items.

Usually open to local residents on a monthly basis the team are pleased to provide a second session during the academic summer break on Friday 16th. Full to capacity many attendees stated that they had gained lots of skills and that they would like to attend future sessions.

The next Stitching and Upcycling Workshop at the FC Designer Workspace will take place Friday 16th August 10am – 3pm and costs £30- only a few spaces are left tap here to book.

FEL also offers free Drop-In Repair and Upcycling sessions once a month at the FC Designer Collective shop, 113-115 Fonthill Road, this is supported by Islington Council with limited availability, further details can be found here.
