22 May Raise Your Clothes Making Game…in Just 4 Days
Next week, 28th – 31st May, we are offering 4-day beginners courses in either stitching or patterns at our Islington campus on Durham Road. In just 4-days the team can teach beginners the fundamentals in clothes making. Whether you want to create your own garments or be able to upcycle your existing clothes, these courses provide a brilliant starting block and are taught in a relaxed and creative environment.
On next week’s 4-day sewing course, you’ll learn:
- Learn different stitches and tensions
- Understand how to cut fabric from a pattern
- Learn about the different fabrics and how they are different in handling
- How to sew straight lines and corners
- How to make a garment from a pattern
On next week’s 4-day pattern-cutting course, you’ll learn:
- Pattern anatomy
- Block making
- Understanding an online
- How to trace a pattern from a block
These classes will take place during half term – Tuesday 28th – Friday 31st May at the FC Designer Workspace, 9 Durham Road, London N7 7FB. Nearest tube station: Finsbury Park.
