10 Aug Meeting with Ambitious About Autism

This week, FEL Development Coordinator, Gee Fletcher had an hour-long meeting online at the FC Designer Workspace with the lovely Henrietta from Ambitious About Autism, which is an amazing organisation that supports people with autism to further their education and training. In the meeting they discussed the different ways in which they can support the students of Ambitious college based in North London. 

A fun project Gee and Henrietta discussed was a design and make your own T-shirt short course, this would include 5 students at a time to come and visit the Fashion-Enter

factory in Haringey. They would then devise their T-shirt ideas in our shop on Fonthill Road, and once happy with their final choice would then head back to the factory to watch their T-shirts get printed on the sustainable direct to garment Kornit Digital printer.

FEL CEO Jenny Holloway and Gee are excited to visit the students at the college beforehand so that the students are familiar and comfortable with the team and are prepared for the course.
