Join Nim (Out of Stock Studio) at the FC Designer Workspace in Islington on Saturday May 25th 2024 for a fully guided masterclass on the process of cutting and sewing to create your own unique kimono-style jacket.

Out of Stock Studio is a sustainable upcycling concept brand founded by Nim, an industry-experienced professional. With 20-years experience in the fashion industry, Nim has worked as a menswear designer for a wide range of brands within the UK including River Island and Ozwald Boateng. For the last 10-years, he lived in Amsterdam where he specialised in denim and workwear, for brands such as GStar and Scotch&Soda. Now back in London, Nim is pursuing a sustainable upcycling concept brand (Out of Stock Studio) while freelancing as a design consultant and hosting regular garment-masterclasses.

The class includes the use of luxury, British-woven, selvedge denim from Hewitt with choices available on size, pocket details and thread colours.

The all-day masterclass is open to individuals with sewing skills and is not recommended for complete beginners.
