29 Mar Islington Affordable Workspace Operator Meeting

On Tuesday 28^th March Fashion-Enter Ltd CEO Jenny Holloway and Deputy CEO Jackie Bertram attended the Islington Affordable workspace operator meeting. 

Islington’s affordable workspace programme has forged a pioneering approach to draw up innovative agreements with workspace providers who, in lieu of rent, leverage the immense business expertise in the borough to provide a wraparound programme of mentoring and networking opportunities, workshops, courses, advice and business support, as well as free or low-cost office and workshop space.

This meeting provided an updated opportunity for each project / Workspace to share what’s working well and any opportunities they currently have available.

This forum provides guidance from peers in a supportive and collaborative approach. Although each project / Workspace is different there are commonalties in terms of social value and recruitment and it was beneficial to share experiences and local information.

Workspace updates were provided by Town Square; Better Space; Space 4 and, of course, the FC Designer Workspace (Fashion-Enter Ltd). 

It was also exciting to hear about future projects that will be coming into the Affordable Workspace network and to also hear about changes to the workspace team.
