Get On Your Bike – Saving CO2 Emissions With FEL

A few years ago Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) installed bike racks at its head office in Haringey in a bid to encourage their workforce to start using peddle power rather than driving or using public transport. The benefits of cycling are two-fold as it promotes regular exercise for the individual with minimum impact on the health of the planet.

We are pleased to say that the bike racks have gained plenty of use and the number of staff riding into work has noticeably gone up over the past two years. When Fashion-Enter Ltd was involved in the design and implementation of FC Designer Workspace in neighbouring Islington, we once again requested for bike racks to be available on site.

Now FEL has gone one step further and is encouraging all their workforce to “get on your bike” by offering an incentive scheme to anyone that starts riding their bike to work.

A £25 M&S Gift Card (or other online gift card) is being offered to encourage all staff at any FEL campus to ride into work.

FEL’s Deputy CEO Jackie Bertram said: “We all can see the devastating consequences of climate change with the recent typhoons and floods in Japan and Pakistan, and I am proud to say that Fashion-Enter Ltd is “doing their bit” to support a reduction carbon emissions while encouraging staff to stay fit and healthy.”
