Welcome to the team Manuela.

Manuela first came to us as a student on the Level 1 Stitching course and continued on to the Level 1 and 2 in Patterns. Showing a natural aptitude for working with textiles she also entered our local curtain making competition, which her group ended up winning. The prize was to create tailor made curtains for Islington’s West Library, a project that Manuela ended up completing on her own.

Now six months later she is joining FEL’s Fashion Technology Academy as a tutor. Hear all about Manuela’s story in this short YouTube interview with FEL CEO Jenny Holloway.
