05 Aug FCDW Learner Development: Megan Johnson

Learner Megan Johnson has been studying at the FC Designer Workspace on the Level 2 Stitching course and passed with flying colours! Her work was excellent and her tutor Ana Cover commented:  “Megan is a very kind and genuine person who has a real aptitude towards helping others.  She has been a pleasure to teach in the classroom. She has been volunteering in the workspace and has really helped a certain learner E to complete her Level 2 course.”

Megan, who is disabled and has to walk with a walking stick commented: “I love the vibe of the FC Designer Workspace as it’s such a positive place to work. I am listened to and respected here and it’s really provided me with confidence. I am now going to start volunteering at FC Designer Workspace and continue to support learners that do not have English as a first language with Fashion-Enter Ltd tutors and then I want to continue working throughout the month of August.”

During this time Megan has also being working on the upcycling of garments and is considering a career in fashion with her own brand or is considering an apprenticeship to become a technician.
