20 Jan Expert Advice: Be Your Own Boss

Fashion-Enter Ltd / FashionCapital holds monthly masterclasses via Zoom to provide up-to-date support and advice from experienced industry experts. These masterclasses are open to FC Designer Workspace residents, Fashion Technology Academy students and external individuals that have signed up via the FashionCapital Eventbrite page.

In the ‘Be Your Own Boss’ masterclass held on 17th January 2025, FEL’s CEO Jenny Holloway ran through all the key areas you need to think about including:

• The reality, pro’s and con’s
• Personal qualities required
• Business skills
• Identifying your skills and developing business ideas
• Obligations
• Legal status and considerations
• Funding sources
