Fashion-Enter Ltd Delivers Free Online Fabric Masterclass 

Fashion-Enter Ltd hosted a free, one-hour online masterclass on 29th January, attracting 74 sign ups  and 35 participants from across the fashion industry. The session attracted learners from the FC Designer Workspace, alongside external students, designers, and fashion brand start-ups keen to deepen their technical understanding of textiles.

The masterclass, titled “Understanding Fabric from Fibre to Finish”, was delivered by Niall Maplesden, Director of The Knowledge Nexus and a leading expert in textile technology, product development, and compliance.

Designed to be both accessible and practical, the session guided attendees through the complete lifecycle of fabric supporting emerging brands and designers to better understand how early material decisions directly impact performance, quality, and sustainability.

Drawing on decades of hands-on industry experience, Niall broke down complex textile processes into clear, actionable insights, making the session both informative and engaging for learners at all stages.
