02 Feb Fantastic Fashion Academy Partnership with CCCG

Over the last 3-years Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) and its learning division, the Fashion Technology Academy, has developed a unique educational partnership with Capital City College Group (CCCG).

CCCG recognises that the creative industries is the fastest growing sector in the UK and by partnering FEL can offer a range of technical and practical skills within its fully equipped FC Designer Workspace.

Students on the Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design: Fashion/Textiles pathway will typically complete 2.5 days a week of timetabled classes on their course and have timetabled at 6 hours per week (1 day) at Fashion-Enter for 16-18s and 9 hours per week (1.5 days for 19+ adults).

CCCG and the FC Designer Workspace is a part of the Knowledge Quarter, which works with a number of employers including The Place, The Guardian and Google, to ensure hands-on experience in real-life settings.

The Level 3 Fashion/Textiles course has grown and flourished by 500% and the feedback from students on this course has been excellent.

The Level 3 course provides the opportunity to learn a range of disciplines such as fashion illustration, pattern cutting and sewing skills, marketing, and business studies, and build on the knowledge of traditional and digital printing skills using state-of-the-art digital ethical technologies.
