04 Jan Make Your Own Kimono Jacket

This month, alongside our Stitching, Pattern Cutting and Upcycling classes, is a 1-day Make Your Own Kimono Jacket workshop with ‘Out of Stock Studio’ taking place Saturday 13th January.

Out of Stock Studio is a sustainable upcycling concept brand founded by Nim, an industry-experienced professional. With 20-years experience in the fashion industry, Nim has worked as a menswear designer for a wide range of brands within the UK including River Island and Ozwald Boateng. For the last 10-years, he lived in Amsterdam where he specialised in denim and workwear, for brands such as GSTAR and Scotch&Soda. Now back in London, Nim is pursuing a sustainable upcycling concept brand (Out of Stock Studio) while freelancing as a design consultant and hosting regular garment-masterclasses.

This 1-day class includes:

The choice from a variety of luxury fabrics (denim from Candiani and Evlox, twills and canvas from UK mill Brisbane Moss)

Pick your size (XS through to XL)

Pick your pocket details and thread colours

Please note this class is not suitable for complete beginners, however if you can sew in a straight line, you’ll be fine. Plus, Nim can help you with any tricky bits).
