18 Sep New FCDW Tenant: Strut Daily

Strut Daily is the latest clothing label to join as a studio tenant at the FC Designer Workspace. 

Strut Daily is run by Nadine Davis who has been making custom pieces from the age of 6. Nadine started with Barbie’s and now works with women who love to stand out by providing them with custom made clothing services and small batch collections. 

Nadine comments: “I want women to feel like they’re on a catwalk when they wear a Strut Daily piece and that is one of the reasons I enjoy offering a custom service. I make clothes to fit the client and not the other way around. 

“The aim with Strut Daily is to grow it into an experience that makes women feel like their bodies and personalities are celebrated, and to create collections that remind them that they are worthy of getting up, dressing up, and showing up for the lives they truly want to live. In 2024 Strut Daily will be hosting its first fashion event and will be working with a few organisations to run sewing workshops for young people.

“I am excited to start this part of Strut Daily’s journey at the FC Designer Workspace, I have been working in my flat with my children on and off over the last decade, so being in a dedicated work space where I am surrounded by fellow designers, business owners and students is inspiring. I also love that masterclasses are regularly offered, as I always want to be learning ways that can help Strut Daily grow. 

“The access to industry professionals and tools that could easily cost small businesses a fortune was another benefit that made me want to be in the space. My clients are looking forward to seeing the studio once I am settled and the studio is going to help me take the custom service to another level.”
