Summer 1-day Reversible Tote Bag Class

This Tuesday 22nd August the stitching class on Durham Road was occupied with 10 creative students that were thrilled to have learned how to create their own unique reversible tote bag out of deadstock materials donated from the Factory. Some students even brought along their own fabulous fabrics that matched their own quirky style.

One student quoted: “A very relaxed atmosphere, a zen place. The teachers, Gintare, Elisa and Manuella were super helpful and supportive.”

With the help of her lovely assistants, Elisa taught the class how to thread a machine, cut fabric from a pattern template and sew together the pieces for a beautiful reversible tote bag with a pocket.

From the class of 10 we had 7 interested in signing up to future courses and short summer courses, we also sold some of our beautifully printed cotton and plain pink cotton lining to be used for future tote bags.
