22 Jun 27th & 28th June: Get 3D Scanned and Gain a Free Plus Size Garment
Getting the perfect fit from standardised clothing sizes can be nightmare for many people. It is a well-known fact that if an item of clothing does not fit well it will often sit in the back of the wardrobe, get chucked out to a local charity shop, or even worse, end up as landfill.
N Brown, a top UK clothing and footwear digital retailer, is committed to being fully inclusive and providing clothes in a broad range of sizes. To ensure that its clothes fit and flatter, in 2019, N Brown invested in 3D body scanning technology. The scanner, with its 20 sensors recording around 150 measurements, has transformed the way that the N Brown team analyses body shape and sizing.

To maintain an up-to-date, accurate reflection of customers’ body shapes N Brown regularly invites members of the public to get scanned, and on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th June the N Brown 3D scanner is landing at the FC Designer Collective shop on Fonthill Road in Islington.
The FC Designer Collective offers retail opportunities for local designers and creatives, it also provides alteration services and upcycling workshops, and is a part of the social enterprise, Fashion-Enter Ltd.

Georgia Fletcher, Fashion-Enter Ltd Development Coordinator, said: “We are super excited to house this amazing 3D scanning tech at the Collective over two days. We invite the general public, particularly those that are a UK size 18 and up, to come in and get scanned. The more data we can collect for N Brown the more accurate their clothing fits will become. As a thank-you N Brown have donated a range of plus size garments for participants which can be upcycled and taken home.”
If you would like to support with this sizing data and walk away with an N Brown garment then please come along to FC Designer Collective, 113-115 Fonthill Road, London N4 on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th June, 10am – 5pm.
