13 Jun Speaking at Drapers Future of Fashion
As part of the continuation of supporting FC Designer Workspace designers Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) constantly review the very latest in software and digital transformation to support and inform the new brands.

On the 8th June, FEL CEO Jenny Holloway was asked to be part of a panel at Drapers Future of Fashion to discuss the importance of 3D and digital transformation that is occurring now and how this can change the fashion industry for the better.

This collaborative session was titled: ‘Shaping the future of retail: exploring the transformative potential of 3D digital technology’ and included speakers: Danny Reinfeld, General Manager, Style3D Europe and Gilles Rakotonatoandro, Senior Digital Product Development expert and consultant at Style3D Europe.
Major concerns by attendees from both designer led brands and large retailers such as next, M&S and Asda focused on seamless technology integration and how to gain process optimisation and what are the constraints on the new system. The participants commented on how 3D tech has limitations but they were also convinced that this is the way to go.
Jenny commented how the designers already have the use of Optitex, Gerber and Vetigraph but having the latest technology such as Style 3D would be excellent to enhance product development, 3D visualisation to generate positive user engagement, and to ensure that designs are correct before pressing the button to make samples. The use of such tech in fashion production not only saves time but has shown to dramatically reduce waste.
During the presentation Jenny gave an overview of other projects and programs that FEL is currently working on, all designers at the FCDW have now been updated about this new IT cutting edge technology and FEL is hoping to have the technology available within the company for September 2023 thanks to a new collaboration with Style3D.
