24 May Repair & Upcycle Workshop – FRIDAY 20TH MAY
Friday 20th May saw the success of the second Repair and Upcycle workshop in the FC Designer Workspace. After the overwhelmingly positive response to the first event, we were happy to continue the free workshop with a booking system to monitor the number of attendees.
At 10am, we welcomed our first visitors who had brought an embellished maxi dress and a ton of jeans! Soon enough we had 10 people in the workspace receiving advice on how to start their upcycling journey. By 2pm attendees had constructed a denim maxi skirt, beaded purple crop top, a deconstructed jacket and tailored denim shorts. Click here to see a video on the day.
